What members get

  1. No queue for the chair

    Send the time you are coming on WhatsApp and we hold the chair for ten minutes.

  2. A touch up within seven days

    If something is uneven, come back within the week. It does not count as a visit.

  3. Hot towel and head massage

    On every visit, not only the first.

  4. Pomade refills at half price

    Bring the tin and we fill it from the big jar at the till.

Two chairs from 1979

Pak Djaja opened this stall in 1979 with two iron chairs he bought second hand from a Dutch barber on Jalan Braga. The chairs are the same ones; the leather has been replaced three times.

The member card started in 2019, when our regulars, mostly office workers around Cihapit, asked for a monthly price so they would not need cash every week.

We do not colour hair except to cover grey, and we do not shave beards with a machine. A folding razor, lather and a hot towel.

Before you join

If I miss a month, is it lost

Yes. A monthly card runs thirty days from the day it is paid. If you are travelling, tell us before you go and we move the dates.

Can someone else use my card

No, a card is in one person's name. Fathers and children have a plan of their own.

How do I pay

Cash or QRIS at the till, or a transfer before your first visit.

Is there parking

Motorbikes in front of the stall. Cars at Pasar Cihapit, two minutes on foot.
